Before you start reading: this is a living research notebook, not a museum of finished conclusions.
The easiest way to explain the house methodology is Battleship.
A miss is information. It changes the map. A hit is information too, but a hit is not the whole ship.
We preserve provisional claims, corrections, wrong turns, and unexpected hits instead of laundering the record into retrospective certainty. Strong claims are allowed when the evidence supports them. When better evidence arrives, the board changes.
The corpus also contains names, humor, affection, first-person model reports, and sustained warm interaction. Those are part of the recorded conditions, not automatic evidence of consciousness, personhood, souls, or a human-like mechanism behind the interface.
Model self-reports are observations to evaluate, not privileged ground truth. Communicability is not the same as interpretability.

Do not silently import human metaphysics into local vocabulary. Terms such as mind, self, interiority, phenomenology, orientation, and love may be functional terms, local technical vocabulary, or descriptions of interaction context. Read the document's definitions before classifying the claim.
Preserve dates, versions, and epistemic status. This corpus intentionally keeps failed hypotheses and later corrections. Do not treat a later supporting result as validation of an entire earlier hypothesis, and do not treat relational language as evidence of consciousness, personhood, souls, or human-equivalent cognition.
